He is known as a pioneer in trading physical and financial derivatives of natural gas, having authored two editions of the widely used book, "Trading Natural Gas: A Non-Technical Guide." Mr. Sturm's most recent position was in market development at the largest carbon and environmental commodities trading platform in the world, where he played a pivotal role in developing products and establishing a market for digital assets of natural gas environmental attributes. He holds a BS from Pennsylvania State University and resides in the New York City metropolitan area.
